Senior Account Manager
Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Reports To: General Manager
Summary Prepares and executes funding of account receivable packages and documentation in accordance with establishment guidelines and performs various activities in the finance area
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reviews portfolios to make sure information is accurate and current.
Reviews and approves account receivable package and documentation following underwriting guidelines and policies.
Prepares schedules for receivable packages.
Establishes payment schedules, verifies payments with invoices
Verifies invoices to make sure client invoices are correct.
Authorizes disbursements of reserves.
Coordinates special documents to cover unusual terms with legal consul.
Ensures all issues are acknowledged and that information is properly recorded.
Reviews and analyzes reports to determine issues and any present or potential risk.
Enters information into computer database.
Updates tickler system to note funding activities and billings.
Examines credit terms and ensures credit is funded within established time frames.
Support inquiries from client
Maintains proper knowledge of all reports & documentation to effectively answer clients questions.
Develops and pursues collection strategies.
Identifies and resolves problems and inconsistencies and suggests appropriate corrective procedures.
Maintains records of all billings for auditing purposes.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises account managers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in general accounting practices and procedures helpful.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Contact Management systems; Database software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
