Assistant to the President/General Manager
Job Title: Assistant to the President/General Manager
Reports To: President/General Manager
Summary Keeps official corporation records and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.
Call prospects clients and prescreens for further follow-up tracks information on prospects
Inserts notes on prospects data base
Prepares reports in timely manner and presents to client
Pulls credit reports. Scans and faxes documents as needed.
Sorts and distributes incoming mail and ships outgoing disbursements as required.
Enters information into computer database or log and keeps all files updated
Prepares memorandums outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies to employees, and monitors compliance.
Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files.

Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
